Agentic Fabrication Network

AI agents can now buy physical
parts that don't exist yet.

Commerce protocols taught agents to shop for what's already on a shelf. FabNet taught them to have things made — 3D printed, CNC machined, sheet metal, laser cut, stickers, apparel — quoted live and ordered in one click, from any AI chat.

Sheet metal · 5052 Aluminum $96.44 bent + deburred arrives Mon
3D printing · PLA $44.60 FDM · prototype grade arrives Wed

The problem

The design takes an afternoon.
Getting your part takes weeks.

Custom manufacturing is a $1.3T global market that still runs on accounts, attachments, and follow-up emails. Here's what ordering one part actually looks like, and what it looks like now.

The old way

Weeks of back-and-forth.

FabNet.Ai

One conversation.

An account for every vendor

Sign up on each instant-quote site and re-upload the same file, just to see a price.

Drop the file in chat

The AI chat you already use. No new account, no new app.

RFQ email ping-pong

Quote requests, attachments, and the "just following up…" chasers.

Say it in plain language

Tell the agent exactly how the part has to be made.

A spreadsheet of quotes

Reconcile who's cheapest, who ships fastest, who's actually reliable.

Comparable quotes in seconds

Price, lead time, and vendor track record, side by side.

Start over

The winner doesn't carry your material. Back to square one.

One click, purchased

Your agent completes the order. No logins. No guesswork.

Days, often weeks, before the part is even ordered.

The part is on its way in minutes.

How it works

From chat to shipped part
in three steps.

01

Upload your design.

Bringup your favorite agent like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini, they discover AFN's MCP server on its own, and it requests the network for quotes for your part (STEP, STL, DXF, PNG, and more). No new account. No new app. No re-uploads.

02

Live quotes instantly.

Real prices from real manufacturers arrive in seconds, ranked and comparable. Refine in plain conversation — "actually in aluminum," "it has to survive outdoors," "I need it by Friday" — and the quotes re-rank instantly.

03

One click. It's on its way.

Checkout happens right in the chat. It routes to the manufacturer, tracking flows back to your inbox, and every delivered part rates the shop that made it — so the best makers rise.

No LLM ever prices a part. Orders are deterministic data — geometry, material, tolerance, quantity, deadline, destination — so quoting stays fast, cheap, and auditable.

One network, every process

If it can be made,
it can be ordered. Instantly.

3D printing

FDM & resin, from one-off prototypes to production runs.

CNC machining

Billet aluminum and more, to ±0.005″.

Sheet metal

Cut, bent, deburred, finished.

Laser cutting

Flat parts in metals and beyond.

Stickers & decals

Cut vinyl from any artwork file.

Print

Cards, flyers, posters — large format included.

Apparel

Shirts, hoodies, and tanks, printed on demand.

+ more

New vendors and manufacturing capabilities are being added daily.

For manufacturers

Every AI agent becomes
your sales channel.

Join once and your capacity is discoverable by every agent on the network — no storefront to build, no ad spend, no RFQ inbox. Two ways in:

Implement the protocol

Use our SDK, pass the conformance suite, and your pricing goes live on the network. Full control, fully automated.

Onboard without code

Our vendor portal gets you on the network without writing a line — you set the capabilities and pricing, we handle the rest.

This isn't a demo.
AFN is live.

Real orders were placed within days of launch. Forty-nine manufacturers are online today. Every quote, order, and delivered part feeds the network's pricing corpus and manufacturer ratings — making it smarter, more trusted, and harder to replicate.

Why us

“In 22 combined years of building robots for NASA, oil and gas, and startups, design was never the bottleneck. Procurement was. So we're fixing it.”

Frank Regal

Co-founder · CTO

Frank has spent eight-plus years building robots from scratch, including a magnetic inspection crawler for Dow Chemical, an assembly robot designed to bolt together structures on the Moon for NASA, and most recently robots for Alcove Robotics. At Dow, he managed a 15-person innovation team and designed and procured plant equipment. During his Ph.D., he has deployed real software stacks on robotic systems for defense, oil and gas, and nuclear industries.
