Privacy Policy

The short version: We aren't harvesting your data. We collect what we need to quote and make your parts, we use it to make the experience better, and we learn from our users in aggregate — as a flock, never as individuals under a microscope. We don't sell your data. Ever.
What we collect
- Account & contact info — your email and ship-to address, so we can send parts and updates.
- Design files — the parts you upload, plus the geometry we compute from them (size, volume, wall thickness) to quote accurately.
- Quotes, orders & conversations — what you asked for, what was offered, what you bought, and your chats with our agent.
- Payments — handled by Stripe. Card numbers never touch our servers.
- Technical basics — logs, IP address, browser info; what every website collects to stay up and secure.
How we use it
- To make your parts. Your design file and shipping address go to the manufacturing partner that fulfills your order — that's the service.
- To make the experience better. We study quotes, outcomes, and conversations to improve pricing, routing, and the agent's helpfulness.
- To learn as a flock. We look at our users in aggregate — which materials people want, where quotes fall short, what the network should build next. Flock-level insight, not individual surveillance.
- To keep you informed. Order status emails, from noreply@fabnet.ai.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal data.
- We don't run ads or share your data with brokers.
- We don't claim ownership of your designs — they're yours.
AI processing
Our agent runs on AI models from providers like Anthropic and OpenAI. Your conversations and files may be processed by those providers to deliver the service; under our agreements with them, they don't train their models on your data.
Who we share with
Only what each party needs: manufacturing partners (your part file and shipping details — they need them to make and ship your order), Stripe (payments), our email service (order updates), and hosting/infrastructure providers. If the law compels disclosure, we comply — and tell you when we're allowed to.
Retention & your choices
We keep data while your account is active or as needed to run the service and meet legal obligations. Want something deleted, exported, or explained? Email privacy@fabnet.ai and a human will handle it.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll post the new version here with a new date.
